Question: “Where are you?”

Today’s question is from Genesis 3:9

Proverbs 5:21 says, “Your ways are in full view of the LORD.” Many people have tried to hide from God. Jonah tried, but God knew all along where he was. David didn’t think anyone saw his sin with Bathsheba, but a short time later he discovered that he was caught and couldn’t hide from God. This snippet is about Adam and Eve who foolishly tried to hide. We can learn a lesson from these Bible people. We too can never hide from God. Then again, God’s children don’t want to hide from him. They want to be as near to their Savior as possible. Psalm 139:8-10 says, “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me; your right hand will hold me fast.” Thank the Lord today that he knows where you are. That’s called love!

A verse to remember:

“Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?”

Jeremiah 23:24

Today my prayer includes . . .

          thanks for this special blessing:

         concern for this special person:

          petition for this special problem:

 A closing verse:

I love my shepherd’s voice,

His watchful eyes shall keep

My wandering soul among

The thousands of His sheep:

He feeds His flock,

He calls their names,

His bosom bears the tender lambs.
