Today’s question is from Mark 10:51
As Jesus and his disciples entered Jericho, they saw a blind man sitting at the roadside begging for money. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he shouted, “Jesus, please help me.” The crowd told him to be quiet and not to bother Jesus. But the man called out even louder, “Son of David, help me.” Finally the disciples let the man go to Jesus. Jesus knew this man was blind, yet he asked him a probing question: “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus wanted the man to come to him and ask him for healing in his own way. He wanted the man to ask for sight. Jesus tells us many times that he wants us to come to him. He tells us to ask, seek, and knock. Jesus knows what we need, yet he wants us to ask him just the same. Thank God for always being there for you. Tell him about what’s happening in your life and share with him your problems and what you “want him to do for you.” That’s what he wants you to do.
A verse to remember:
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you!”
John 15:7
Today my prayer includes . . .
thanks for this special blessing:
concern for this special person:
petition for this special problem:
A closing verse:
Take to God your plans and failures,
Anytime and anywhere.
No one ever goes unanswered,
For He answers every prayer.
