Daily Snippets on God’s Blessings – Weather

He can be seen in storms and in whirlwinds; clouds are the dust from his feet.

Nahum 1:3 (CEV)

One thing we can be certain about: no one can be certain about the weather! The weather is an interesting topic. It is perhaps the most talked about subject in any conversation. It controls our lives. It brings happiness and disaster. Already on day four of creation God established the seasons, and he assures us they will remain as long as the earth remains. Jesus himself referred to the weather in Matthew 16:2,3 (CEV), “If the sky is red in the evening, you say the weather will be good. But if the sky is red and gloomy in the morning, you say it is going to rain. You can tell what the weather will be like by looking at the sky. But you don’t understand what is happening now.” What a mighty God we have. Just step outdoors today, and feel a touch of the Master’s hand!
