God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.

Unlike other senses, touch is a sense that is used all over the body. We feel the sense of touch from the bottom of our feet to the tops of our heads. The Bible often mentions the sense of touch. Each time Jesus healed the blind he touched their eyes. In the locked room after his resurrection, Jesus went to Thomas and told him to touch the wounds so he could feel for himself that they were real. Thomas learned an important lesson thanks to his sense of touch. The Bible says many mothers tried to get close to Jesus so he could touch their children. He took the children in his arms and hugged them and blessed each one of them. Jesus still touches us today. We sense his loving touch by the blessings he gives us. Our families, friends, health, and happiness are all ways that Jesus touches us. What a wonderful Savior we have!

There are days so dark that I seek in vain
For the face of my Friend divine;
But though darkness hide, He is there to guide
By the touch of His hand on mine.
