Daily Snippets on God’s Blessings – Intelligence

The wise store up knowledge.

Proverbs 10:14

We praise God that we are wonderfully made. Consider for a moment the amazing ability of the brain. It stores unimaginable amounts of facts. It remembers things from decades ago. It recounts sounds, tastes, and smells, and has the ability to reason and solve some of life’s most difficult problems. The Bible tells us that our brains were no accident. They needed someone with unlimited knowledge to design and program them. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” As God’s children we must always try to fill our minds with thoughts that give glory to him. Go about your daily work today making good use of your brain by adding new information, remembering things you were taught, and acknowledging how wonderful and majestic God is. Then ask God to help you use your intelligence for his work and for his service.
