Daily Snippets on God’s Blessings – Access to God

We have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.

Romans 5:2

No doubt it would seem quite impossible for us to have access to the President of the United States. There are layers upon layers of people and checks we would need to pass to be so fortunate. A major difference between Christianity and all other religions is that we have direct access to God. In fact he invites us to come to him anytime and anywhere. Through the Word and prayer we can freely communicate with God. We even enjoy thoughts of our hand in his, Jesus caring for us like a shepherd, and his taking an interest in everything we say and do. Thank the Lord for giving you access to the Almighty Creator of the universe. And then imagine that one day when you reach heaven, the gates will be wide open, welcoming you to the marriage feast.

          thanks for this special blessing:

          concern for this special person:

          petition for this special problem:

 A closing verse:

And give him kind access to Thee;
Give him a place within Thy house,
To taste Thy love divinely free.

Isaac Watts
